Vanitas, Akershus University College 2002
Vanitas motives are related to human vanity and the transience of life: memento mori, remember mortality. In traditional still life depiction of everyday objects like different types of vases were symbols of life and death.
The Vanitas ceramic tile motifs were exhibited at Kunstnerforbundet in 2000. Ceramic tiles from the series was given from the Ministry of Education to Akershus University College at the consolidation at Kjeller Science Park in 2002. The tiles are a part of the art collection of Oslo and Akershus University of Applied Sciences.
